Role Responsibilities

Summary of the R&R:


Strategy

Business

  • Identify Opportunities for business growth and write business case with the existing systems and potential new systems and recommend business strategies and ideas
  • Maintain clear and complete knowledge on company business architecture and procedures
  • Stay abreast with business trends and technologies
  • Collaborate with Project Manager in planning and executing assigned projects
  • Coordinate, collaborate with customer for understanding the user requirements thoroughly
  • Execution of business process/standards and ensures they are followed smoothly
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through the deliverables
  • Implement process improvements for business solution analysis and delivery methodologies.
  • Functional responsibilities:
  • For the designated portfolios, Analyze business process changes and determine their impact to customers
  • For the designated portfolios, ensure comprehensive and detailed solution, data, business requirements for the implementation of Economic Capital and Finance/ Management reporting with respect to data inputs and mapping business rules are aligned with the underlying Finance/risk methodologies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide/Develop business/risk requirements to IT Finance Solutions on business requirements documentation, analysis, specifications, and testing
  • Provide guidance in the testing and development of the Capital, Finance and Management reporting within the designated portfolios and risk types support and ongoing maintenance of the engine
  • Adapting quickly to changing Business needs and provide Solution adhering to Architecture Principles and Bank's Technology Standards.
  • Constantly looking for opportunities to enhance the system and automate where possible to value to Organization and End users.
  • Evaluate business metrics and provide recommendations for future projects.
  • Provide postdeployment support to customers as needed.

Processes

  • All deliverables should meet SDLC processes and polices and within agreed budget

People & Talent *
  • Should conduct regular status call and share status reports with ITO team.
Collect requirements JIRA/CR# from business team and analyse it and propose right solution to business

  • Identifies and recommends new technology or practices that will add value to the organization in terms of performance and cost
  • Undertakes continuous improvement for the dev practice.
  • Educate Analysts on best practices, business processes
  • Training new staffs

Risk Management

  • Responsibilities relating to preventing/identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks in the deliverables.

Governance **- Enhancement of processes for business growth

  • Review of existing processes for adherence with business terms
  • Definition of system process/architecture and alignment with the system procurement/governance policies

Regulatory & Business Conduct **- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Business, Domain Architect, Development, Testing, Support & BAU teams

  • Effectively manage multiple stakeholders demands and expectations while maintaining quality and delivery of support operations.
  • Effectively lead small team of development having two or three Jr. resources.
  • Should conduct regular status call and share status reports with ITO team.
  • Collect requirements JIRA/CR# from ITO team and analyse it and propose right solution.
  • Convert requirements into FSD/TSD
  • Walkthrough FSD & TSD with ITO team and coordinate with the development team till production release.
  • Bring automation in all solutions.
  • Keeps current with new practice and technical developments for potential use as solutions to requirements
  • Thought lead as teams' transition to Agile and Cloud ecospheres
  • Identifies and recommends new technology or practices that will add value to the organization in terms of performance and cost
  • Undertakes continuous improvement for the dev practice.
  • Conducting Pilot & Prototype, Pattern Library, Open-Source Enforcement for the technology platform
  • Strategic interface with Operations Team, Routine Interface with Delivery Teams, Audit Interface on need basis
