Think Tank Studio is looking for a Junior Editor to create and execute content for our in-house publication.

As a JUNIOR EDITOR, your core pillars of work are to:

LEAD in the conceptualisation and execution of our in-house publications

Plan and be responsible for the content and quality of editorial and publication content for the magazines, ensuring the timely and successful publication of each issue.
Plan, produce, edit and oversee content production in various formats (e.g. podcasts, explainer videos, interactive articles) on multiplatforms.
Discern & improve on the requests, offers, and promises required to help project stakeholders and clients experience greater level of satisfaction with the company's work.

DEVELOP the capabilities of the writing unit

Take responsibility to learn & grow in a new area of learning and lead in knowledgesharing with the team.
Contribute articles, as well as generate ideas for articles and stories with writing staff.
Editing and rewriting articles and stories, some of which may be rejected or returned to the writers for revision.
Manage working relationships with writing staff (full time and/or freelance) and designers for related projects.
Maintain and uphold the writing standards of the unit.
Proofread and copy write for any other Company related publications or projects
Handle any other Company related matters as may arise or be assigned by the Managing Editor or EditorinChief.

General

You must be able to organise and manage your own time and project schedules effectively or be willing to learn.

Team Structure:
The Junior Editor will work under the direct supervision of the Editor-in-Chief as part of the Editorial unit
