QC Technician - Singapore - MGC PURE CHEMICALS SINGAPORE PTE LTD

Job Responsibilities

1. Reports directly to the section engineer and/or designate

2. Carry out all laboratory tests and measurements accurately in accordance to procedure

3. Prepares standards and reagents for analysis in accordance to procedure

4. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments

5. Handle ISO Documentation/Raw Data for QA Department

6. Accurately update and monitor internal Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts

7. Maintains and checks inventory of all storage samples

8. Support the QA Section in its activities as and when required

9. Performs any other tasks as instructed by the supervisor, engineer, QC section manager and HOD

Job Requirement

1. Candidate with Diploma in Chemical or science discipline preferred (fresh graduates from local polytechnic)

2. Experience with analytical instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, etc.

3. Ability to communicate clearly in both writing and verbally and good interpersonal skills

4. Basic understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards will be an advantage

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
