Description

Our client is a well-established International Bank who have operations across Retail, Wholesale and Asset Management, who have a strong presence in Singapore.

They are looking for Product Controller to join their team.

This role will look after a number of products, both vanilla and structured products, working closely with Front Office and other business functions to provide P&L support, as well as advisory and value-add to key stakeholders.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

Responsible for P&L control and governance across a number of entities (including Treasury, Emerging Markets, FX)
Take ownership of calculating, verifying and reporting of daily revenue to key internal stakeholders
Monthend procedures including Balance Sheet substantiation
Interact with key internal stakeholders to resolve queries on booking, accounting and valuations
Support crossregional booking, product initiatives and projects

To be eligible for this role you will require:

University graduate, ideally in Finance/Accounting or Economics, with minimum 3 years experience in Product Control/Market Risk in a Financial Services environment.
Experience in FX, Rates or Treasury products would be desirable.
Knowledge of tools such as Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI would be an advantage but not essential
