Job Overview
The Director of Architecture and Design sets the design strategy and creative direction for the Popeyes restaurants worldwide.

They will have one eye towards the future, collaborating with colleagues across brand, marketing, operations, and technology to define and design the future of a guest centered brand experience.

At the same time, they need to create and provide the necessary guidelines and training to maintain the quality and consistency of our restaurants today.


Responsibilities:


  • Sets the design strategy and creative direction of the Popeyes restaurant experience.
  • Managing Global Restaurant Guidelines.
  • Provide inspiration and training as necessary to ensure design strategy and guidelines are understood and executed to our standards.
  • Manage content of guides to ensure ease of execution.
  • Organize and chair regularly scheduled design meetings across regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC) to ensure knowledge exchange.
  • Manage and mentor design talent to grow our future leaders.
  • Manage Global Restaurant design projects.
  • Contract with external agencies as needed.
  • Maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business drivers and market context.

Qualifications:


  • At least Bachelor's degree (Science or Arts) from an accredited design program
  • Minimum 8years of professional experience in related field minimum
  • 2+ years of experience in project management. Preferred experience in Design Project Management, (Interior, Architecture, Graphic, or Industrial Design).
  • Preferred experience in Design Project Management, (Interior, Architecture, Graphic, or Industrial Design)
  • Preferred experience in QSR or related industry Retail Design, Architectural Design, Hospitality Design, Product design.
  • Certification preferred but not required LEED, Registered Interior Designer or Architect.
  • Must have a command of the English language both verbal and written.
  • Experience with (Software) Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, are necessary.
