Description

The finance manager will be responsible for various aspects of day-to-day finance operations in Singapore & Malaysia. The incumbent will be a business partner with key stakeholders to deliver key finance and operations KPIs.

From time to time, the incumbent will also be involved in ad hoc analysis together with their stakeholders on new opportunities identified.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

Lead the annual budget planning and forecasting activities
Monitor budget adherence and variances, and provide regular reports to management.
Identify costsaving opportunities and implement effective cost control measures.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget compliance and optimize resource allocation.

Financial Operations Management:

Preparation and reviewing of monthly and adhoc financial reports for management at both the company and group levels on a timely basis
Responsible for cash flow planning and management to ensure sufficient fund available as working capital for daily operations.
Hands on responsibility for smooth running of financial operations, including but not exclusive to, payment processing, bank reconciliation, petty cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivables and inventories management.
Preparation and filing of quarterly GST filing and annual corporate tax computation.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with at least 5 years experience, ideally from a retail or ecommerce industry background
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and financial reporting regulations
Possess good Microsoft Excel skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and influence decisionmaking at all levels of the organization.
Working knowledge of Xero accounting
