- Contributing to cutting-edge research in small molecule electrocatalysis for electrolysis and fuel cells.
- Investigating the relationship between catalysts' solid-state properties and their performance, as well as developing new electrode materials for small molecule catalysis.
- Providing day-to-day support for the research team.
- May undertake open-ended research projects under team supervision.
- Mentoring and guiding graduate students.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- A PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Solid-state Physics, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Capacity to work autonomously or as part of a team in R&D projects
- Track record of publishing papers in conferences and journals
- Willingness and ability to train and advise graduate students on relevant procedures
- Consistent reporting and meticulous documentation of work
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral
- Extensive research background in electrocatalysis, catalyst development for fuel cells, and materials chemistry
- Ability to contribute effectively as a team member in experimental research
- Demonstrated capability for independent research
