We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a
Senior Specialist, Credit Control.

Principal Responsibilities
This resource will work full-time on Brokers channel for the following tasks:

  • Mange/liaise with Brokers for the outstanding debt collection
  • Sending monthly statements of accounts (SOAs)/ commission statement
  • Review and carrying out any required reconciliation checks of premium/Brokerage/GST on brokerage/ incentive payments against outstanding debts before arranging pay out to Broker
  • Working closely with offshore office to ensure receipt of payments and matching receipts against accounting system balances processed accurately and timely.
  • Addressing queries relating to statement balances and cash settlements
  • Analyse unsettled balances from older years, identifying actions to be taken in reducing bad debt balances
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements


Requirements:


  • Prior experience relating to Technical Accounting, administration work in Credit Control
  • Good knowledge of Insurance, Accounting concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent team player
  • Good task and timeline management
  • Good communication skills (able to liaise with multiple counterparties efficiently)
  • Meticulous and proactive in following up on pending items, and in documenting working files
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Independent with a selfstarter mindset
