Description
Aircraft Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks, including inspection, repair, modification, and functional tests.
- Attend to routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks and other line maintenance duties.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and engines and all associated aircraft systems.
- Inspect finished work, carry out operation/functional tests, and rectify aircraft defects.
- Sign off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release.
- Manage and maintain tool & equipment store and provide recommendations, if applicable.
Workload Distribution:
Base Maintenance: 70%, Line Maintenance: 30%, depending on workload.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and resolve complex aircraft issues.
Requirements:
- A valid CAAS license or an Aircraft Maintenance License, that is transferable to a Singaporean CAAS license (EASA, CASA, DCAM, etc.).
- Possess at least 2 type ratings, with a minimum of one of the following type ratings: A320, A350, A380, B747, B777, and/or B78
- At least five years of experience as an LAE.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (proficient in English reading and writing).
- Good customer relationship skills.
