Posting Date: 9 Feb 2024The Community Health Visitor (CHV) will deliver integrated preventive health and social care service provision and coordination for mother and child, focusing on antenatal and postnatal care, developmental-centered parenting, parent child interaction and family well-being, with the aim of optimising every child's potential for healthy growth and development.

To be the main point-of-service-coordination between patient/client/family with healthcare and social service systems.

Job requirements:

Degree in Nursing (preferred), Early Childhood, Psychology or
Specialist Diploma (Early Childhood/Psychology/Social Work) with 5 years relevant experience
Relevant Experience of working with vulnerable children and families in a community setting and/or with infant and child development work
Scope of work is physically and emotionally demanding
Includes travelling to and from Client's homes for service delivery and emotionally intense work with vulnerable families, children and young infant
Dynamic, problemsolver, efficient, resourceful and independent individual
Demonstrate a high level of initiative and organisational skills
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills are essential
