Develop sectoral capabilities by engaging industry partners, conceputalise new initiatives and interventions relating to enterprise and workforce development

Conceputalise pilots to test-bed new initiatives and interventions, and constantly iterate and refine the ideas

Drive adoption of cross-sectoral initiatives, as well as other national priority initiatives such as the Skillsfuture Career Health Initiative, through outreach platforms and media publicity

Formulate operations policy and engagement strategies and oversee strategic operations planning and processes

Lead and oversee the compliance and governance processes within the division

Deliver new and innovative ways to acquire new leads, drive partnerships and streamline current processes

Monitor and review performance of cross-sectoral initiatives against the performance objectives to ensure alignment to corporate KPIs

Manage related strategic linkages and cross-agency projects with government ministries/agencies, unions, industry/employer associations and provide strategic inputs for sectoral skills strategies and plans

Drive and implement innovation and special projects, which may be required under WOG/MOM HQ's guidance

About 10 years of experience in relevant fields, with about 5 years in management position

Operations Policy Design & Implementation - Ability to analyse and understand policies and their implications, and translate them into implementation

Manage strategic affairs - Demonstrate strategic thinking, able to define organisational performance measures

Communication - Deliver effective written and oral communication

Proven ability in formulating operations policy and guidelines and translating it for the delivering of relevant interventions to facilitate job placements for different worker segments

Previous hands-on experience in programme development including conducting market sensing and analysis, conceptualising and validating new construct and implementing and reviewing the outcomes

Demonstrated success in driving programme adoption with measurable outcomes

Proven track record in delivering new and innovative ways to acquire new leads and partnerships

Possess a diverse network covering different industries

Description
[What the role is]You will be part of Workforce Singapore (WSG) management team to develop and implement initiatives and programmes relating to enterprise development. As a Deputy Director, you are expected to assume supervisory responsibilities by overseeing the day-to-day management and development of 4 to 5 teams of staff.
