Job Responsibility

1. Plan and execute development work of new product
2. Review and refine existing products to improve cost and quality
3. Support first batch production trial
4. Support trial application at customer site
5. Resolve paint related customers' queries, attend to customer complaints, and conduct site investigation
6. Write Technical Reports of the experiments and test results
7. Create & maintain test reports, technical documents and files
8. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, etc.
9. Maintaining lab equipment and report on malfunctions
10. Ensure compliance with Laboratory Safety Management Standard
11. Undertake other job functions as and when assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Chemistry or related field, NACE certification will be an advantage
2. Self-starter and able to take initiative and drive towards results
3. Able to meet tight deadlines and follow up on commitments
4. Strong ability to solve problems and communicate effectively
5. Candidates with no experience can be considered for this role
