    A Day in the Life

    Play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Medtronic Customer Experience Center (MCXC), facilitating successful event execution, and promoting a positive experience for all stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to provide exceptional customer service, manage facility reservations efficiently, and orchestrate seamless event logistics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Engagement:

  • Perform meet-and-greet duties, assist with check-in procedures, and escort visitors to event premises.
  • Deliver exceptional service to visitors, ensuring prompt, friendly, and courteous support throughout their visit.
  • Build strong relationships with internal (commercial, educational) and external (education institute) stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and customer-centric environment.
  • Facility Management:

  • Oversee the center's reservation system, offering personalized service recommendations for security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology, etc.
  • Coordinate with facilities teams to ensure seamless setup, housekeeping, food & beverage services, and landlord services (security, air-conditioning).
  • Manage facility reservation calendar and arrange after-hour services like security and air conditioning.
  • Ensure timely execution of external services (cleaning, maintenance, grounds, security).
  • Verify security personnel presence aligns with global Medtronic standards.
  • Facilitate facility intake process for event organizers.
  • Uphold and adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
  • Maintain center equipment inventory list.
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing at the Center.
  • Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure preparations for room setup, housekeeping, catering, etc., are in order before the event date.
  • Attend operational meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of event requirements.
  • Provide proactive support and coordinate events, including those occurring during evenings and weekends.
  • Track service requirements for accurate monthly billing (e.g., AC extension). Reporting
  • Maintain guests count details for month end reporting.
  • Maintain report for allocation of costs to the respective cost center.
  • Responsible for the timely payment of invoices to the respective vendors/caterers.
  • Provide analysis of center/facilities utilization.
  • Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Experience and knowledge in handling technical devices such as a projector, projector screen, and TV.
