    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    The incumbent will assist the Head, Strategic Communications and Advocacy, to primarily pilot and implement projects that will empower persons affected by stroke and other clients and their caregivers/families. In particular, the staff will lead a new project to work with social innovators/inventors to co-develop potential home and community solutions to increase stroke survivors' independence and functionality. The Programme Exec will also support the community health and outreach efforts in line with S3's mission and vision.

    Programme Implementation:

    • Implement projects and initiatives to support stroke survivors and other client groups that S3 serves
    • Specifically, to work closely with internal stakeholders, such as our clients, the social work team, therapy team, and Wellness team to identify the needs of clients and caregivers/families.
    • To source for and work with social innovators/inventors to co-develop potential home and community solutions to increase stroke survivors' independence and functionality.
    • Ensure quality control, compliance with established measures, and monitor key project deliverables and performance indicators, including product and experience evaluation.
    • Keep and maintain client records in line with programme requirements and audit purposes

    Community Health and Outreach:

    • To support the organisation as required in reaching out to and implementing community programmes
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and recruit seniors to participate.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Diploma in any discipline, preferably in healthcare
    • Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position in healthcare or the community care sector
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Able to work independently and also in a team
    • Able to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Has good project management and events coordination skills.

    The staff will also be expected to travel between and work from, as needed, S3's two centres at Enabling Village and Jurong Point, and to client homes etc.
