Description

Responsible for procuring merchandise assortments for the related brand(s) and work to create the appropriate merchandise mix based on competitive market trends, along with meeting the assortment strategies established by the management.

Responsibilities:

Identifying the organisations purchasing needs.
Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
Understand target market and analyse buying trends.
Plan and Execute merchandise assortment plan that supports the financial and merchandising objectives.
Plan and manage OTB to ensure the financial targets and sellthrough goals are met.
Set retail price of the products and analyse the profit margins.
Process requisitions and update management on the status of orders.
Build relationships and negotiate with suppliers for best price, MOQ and delivery timescales.
Followup on orders, delivery schedule and coordinate shipments.
Liaise with warehouse on logistics/ storage requisition.
Manage and development of ecommerce channel.
Coordinate with other relevant departments such as Operations, Warehouse and Finance etc.
Generate and analyse weekly and monthly sales performance reports
Conduct weekly replenishments and shoptoshop transfers.
Monitor and manage inventory level (markdown clearance and promotions).
Monitor product quality and expiry, to escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related as needed.

Requirements:

Min. Diploma in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Business Development or relevant discipline.
Min. 3 years of buying experience in F&B FMCG environment.
IT savvy, meticulous, good sense with figures and strong analytical minded
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning, independent, strong timemanagement skills and multitasking ability.
A good team player.
Willing to travel
Passion and flair for trade shows and product launch functions
