Senior Accountant - Singapore - Sing-ed Corporation Pte. Ltd.

The candidate will assist in handing AR and AP function, and full set of other dormant and/or small companies accounts. This position is based in Singapore HQ.

Job Responsibilities:

• AR module - Prepare monthly / termly invoices. Recording daily receipts received. Sending reminders to parents for outstanding fees.
• AP module - Recording of suppliers' invoices, prepare payments vouchers, arrange for online banking payment transactions in compliance with procurement SOP and book it into accounting system in AP module
• Handle full set of dormant and/or small companies accounts including daily accounting entries, bank reconciliation, month end and year end closing and schedules including preparation of financial statements.
• Responsible to compile and check staff reimbursement
• Assist in financial analysis on P&L and balance sheet
• Assist in enhancement of the financial and management reporting system, internal control, policies and procedures
• Maintain a schedule to track the inter-company billing
• Monthly reporting deadlines to Finance Manager
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents where appropriate
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting / Bachelor of Degree in Accounting vith minimum 2 years of related experience
• Experience for keeping accounts for the education sector will be advantageous
• Hands-on handling AR and AP functions
• Hands-on handling online banking payments and ensure SOP compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications Knowledge of ACCPAC advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
