Key Responsibilities:
1.
_Classroom Support:
_
- Assist educators in implementing lesson plans and instructional materials, adapting them as necessary to meet the individual needs of students with special needs.
- Provide oneonone or small group support to students, reinforcing concepts and facilitating their participation in classroom activities.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, motivation, and socialemotional development.
_Student Assistance:
_
- Provide direct support to students with special needs in various aspects of their learning, including academics, social skills, communication, and behavior management.
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students.
- Implement strategies and interventions as directed by educators and therapists to support students' individualized education plans (IEPs).
_Classroom Organization and Management:
_
- Assist in organizing and maintaining classroom materials, resources, and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe learning environment.
- Support educators in managing student behavior and implementing positive behavior support strategies.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and maintain visual schedules, visual supports, and other tools that enhance students' understanding and independence.
_Communication and Collaboration:
_
- Maintain open and effective communication with educators, therapists, and other team members regarding students' progress, challenges, and individualized needs.
- Share observations and insights about students' strengths, interests, and areas for development with the education team.
- Collaborate with the team to implement strategies and interventions consistently across different settings and routines.
_Documentation and Record Keeping:
_
- Assist in maintaining accurate and uptodate records of student progress, observations, and incidents in accordance with established procedures.
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports, individualized education plans (IEPs), and other relevant documentation.
- Respect and maintain the confidentiality of student information and adhere to data protection policies.
Requirements:
- Nitec or above in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Passion for working with individuals with special needs and a commitment to their education and wellbeing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to provide emotional support to students.
- Ability to follow instructions, implement strategies, and adapt to the unique needs of each student.
- Basic knowledge of special education principles, strategies, and techniques is preferred.
Salary:
$1, $2,200.00 per month

Education:
- GCE 'A' Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
