    Role Purpose:

    To provide classroom/ virtual/ counter/ other channel/ coaching, training to retail staff and support sales and marketing team in terms of PR events, counter events and workshops.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Development

    • Develop and plan coaching objectives in line with training, sales and marketing focus and strategic objectives for retail, Sephora and perfumery etc.
    • Support the training team in ad-hoc training projects/corporate initiatives.


    Execution

    • Deliver coaching program at the counter to support pre-promo/launch initiatives.
    • Provide quick training, mentoring & evaluation at the counter for new hires.
    • Consistent follow-up sessions at the counter for weaker & new hires.


    Management

    • Manage and track grooming/ knowledge/ productivity/ service of retail staff.
    • Create tools to evaluate/assess to ensure transfer of knowledge.
    • Report and work with Training Manager on progress of retail staff.
    • Suggest follow-up actions.
    • Work closely with Brand Principals to execute brand objectives and provide progress reports


    On Field

    • Conduct store visits to do in-store briefing, coaching for full/part time retail staff and to identify training needs (50% of time to be spent on field).


    PR Event/Workshop/Promotion (30%)

    • Lend expertise to marketing team to conduct PR/Consumer events.
    • Involvement in promotions, road shows, fashion shows to help create brand awareness.

    Requirements

    • People oriented, highly self-motivated and able to articulate business objectives
    • Training or coaching experience within the retail industry is essential
    • Strong in makeup skills, skincare and fragrance
    • Good command of both written, spoken English
    • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
    • Team player that displays tact and good initiative with a pleasant disposition
    • Proficient in MS Office Applications,
    • High level of competence in presentation
    • Able to travel internationally for work
