Description

Job Duties:-

1. To ensure that the Contractor co-ordinates the work of various contractors.

2. To review detailed programmes and plans.

3. To check that all necessary drawings and instruction have been given to contractors and authorization obtained, in accordance with the approved programme.

4. To check that materials are ordered in good time and permits obtained.

5. Check that all constructions works are carried out in a safe manner, and that the site is kept safe and secure.

6. To watch for faulty workmanship and materials incorporated in the works and to issue instructions for rectification.

7. To check line and level and layout of structure during erection and that intentions of "contract" drawings are adhered to.

8. To check structural slab, beam and column sizes and reinforcements placed and that intent of design details are followed.

To keep a record of all measurements and tests and to bring plans into conformity with the work actually executed

Requirement:-

• Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) and at least five (5) years of relevant working experience in the field.
• RE (MEICA) shall be accredited with Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the IES Singapore and Association of Consulting Engineers, Singapore (ACES).
• Full time at site to supervise the construction of MEICA works and ensure the works are carried out in compliance with statutory requirements and the specifications.
• Experienced in PUB Project for water works and well-verse with PUB requirements (i.e. Pump/Valves/SCADA/Electrical Instrumentation & Control System).
• Contract Duration : 2 years
• Project location: Bukit Batok Road
• Project Type: Construction of Service Reservoir and Pipeline works with Control Building works (Client - PUB)
• Able to start work within short notice
• Salary : $5500 to $6500
