Description

A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, from greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions, and providing product information.

• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner
• Assist customers with requests instore and over the phone
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
• Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner
• Keep an eye on inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Educate customers about current promotions and advertisements
• Manages financial transactions.
• Processes payments by totalling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Stamp, mark, and tag prices on merchandise
• Contribute to team's daily sales goals

• Minimum N Levels required
• 12 years of retail sales experience or customer service experience
• Available to work long hours, on weekends and public holidays
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Telephone etiquette
• Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
• Basic math skills
• High attention to detail
• Demonstrated selling skills
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance
