Accounts Assistant - Singapore - VEREDUS LABORATORIES PTE. LTD.

Description

The Accounts Assistant supports the Finance department and will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operation of the company.

He/She is involved in full spectrum of accounting work activities, specifically in accounts payable and provides clerical support in accounts receivable function.

He/She is also responsible for monthly updating of General Ledger, Fixed Assets Listing, Inter-companies schedules. He/She may be called on to participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing, when necessary.

• Monitor suppliers' invoices and ensure payments are uptodate
• Check and verify employee claims for disbursement
• Assign account codes to transactions in the accounting system
• Prepare monthend closing documents such as General Ledger, journals, schedules and reconciliations (including intercompany transactions and bank reconciliation)
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage and resolve payables issues
• Assist in quarterly GST submission and annual tax filing
• Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Administer and maintain Fixed Assets Register
• Maintain filling, scanning and documents tracking
• Perform administrative and other adhoc duties assigned by superior
