    Job Purpose

    IMCD aims to be a valued partner to all its suppliers and customers by providing continuous training to all employees to ensure competence and ability to deliver quality service. The Company uses its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation as the framework for fulfilling the expectations of its suppliers and customers. IMCD's operating companies implement quality management systems on the bases of these ISO standards on a local level. In addition, operating companies also implement other quality management systems if relevant to the specific products they distribute, such as ISO 22000 / HACCP / BRC (food safety management), ISO occupational health and safety), GMP+ (good manufacturing practices for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products), GDP (good distribution practices for pharmaceutical products) and ECO (for organic products).

    Primary Job Location: Singapore

    Reporting to: Managing Director, Singapore

    The Position is responsible to:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of IMCD's HSEQ Policy and related Quality Management System
  • Coordinate implementation of ISO certification, prepare for and schedule internal- and external audits
  • Support and coordinate for Non-Conformance Reports, define and propose corrective and preventive measures
  • Ensure all SOP's procedures are in place.
  • Support Trade Compliance process, including import, export and domestic outbound to local customers.
  • Ensure HS code management, SDS management, supplier evaluation program in place.
  • Ensure local legislation and governance compliance
  • Timely ensuring Corrective actions plan for Customer, external, internal audits
  • Support for Supplier evaluation program
  • Ensure Customer complaint handling program is in place
  • Align Work Safety Practices with local regulatory agencies and governmental bodies.
  • Expected Qualification/Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in Safety Health & Environment

    Work Experience: Ideally 3-5 years of work experience in Health, Safety, Environment & Quality roles with increasing responsibility in a reputed Industrial Chemicals business, or a consultancy role either as an expert or as an auditor.

  • Good project management skills
  • Knowledge of HS Code which impact duties and tariffs for goods into and out of Singapore to the APAC region.
  • Knowledge of the ISO standards relevant for HSEQ with hands on experience in achieving ISO 9001 /ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ ISO 22000/Halal Certification.
  • Experience in holding/applying for Import and Export permits for regulated substances into and out of Singapore
  • Strong written English language and editing capabilities
  • Conscientious and precise individual with an eye for detail
