RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the development, construction, testing, and maintenance of SQL databases and data pipelines
• Participate in data modelling, database design, ETL, and reporting tasks under supervision
• Assist in the creation of database schemas, tables, views, functions, and stored procedures using SQL
• Support in loading data from various sources into databases and data warehouses using SQL and ETL tools
• Contribute to optimizing SQL queries and database performance
• Collaborate with software developers in integrating applications with databases
• Assist in documenting database schemas, ETL processes, and technical specifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any IT related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering with SQL and relational databases
• Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) including writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, etc
• Knowledge of database design principles, data modeling and warehousing principles
• Experience in developing schemas, tables, views, functions
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization
• Ability to communicate technical specifications to stakeholders
