Job Description & Requirements:

• Setting out the works in accordance withthe drawings and specification
• Liaising with the project planning engineerregarding construction programmes
• Checking materials and work in progressfor compliance with the specifiedrequirements
• Observance of safety requirements
• Resolving technical issues with employer'srepresentatives, suppliers, subcontractors
• and statutory authorities
• Quality control in accordance withCSIs/procedures method statements,
• quality plans and inspection and test plans,all prepared by the project management
• team and by subcontractors
• Liaising with company or projectpurchasing department to ensure thatpurchase orders adequately define thespecified requirements
• Supervising and counselling junior ortrainee engineers
• Measurement and valuation (incollaboration with the project quantitysurveyor where appropriate)
• Providing data in respect of variationorders and site instructions Preparingrecord drawings, technical reports, sitediary
• Job review of subordinate staff
