Responsibilities:

Assisting with pre

- and post-fixture vessel operations in accordance with the charter party terms, overseeing loading and unloading of cargo, optimizing voyages,providing updates to the commercial team

Maintaining communication with relevant parties, and managing relationships with customers and suppliers
Ensure timely and accurate updates to the commercial team and input into the Voyage Management System

Requirements:

Possess strong personal and work ethics, at least one year of experience in operating tankers (clean and/or specialized)
Excellent negotiation, problemsolving, and analytical skills, good communication skills in spoken and written English
Ability to investigate and make decisions, take initiative,
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point,
Ability to work independently and in a team, and the flexibility to work outside of office hours as needed due to the nature of the shipping industry.
