About this role

As a Financial Planning & Analytics Analyst, you will provide financial analysis and planning, decision support, improvement opportunities and technical guidance and support across the business.

You are required to partner with internal and external stakeholders across a variety of levels and provide insightful analysis to drive profitability and as well as take the lead on the budgeting and forecasting processes.


What will I do?

  • Responsible for partnering with the Service Portfolios and collaborating with Finance Business Partners in developing and delivering the overall Portfolio strategy. Challenge and influence the Service Portfolio leadership in achieving their strategic aims.
  • Developing the Integrated Business Plan and Annual Business Plan process and templates with understanding of the key drivers and required outputs for the Australasia Region. Supplemented with scenario modelling and potential simulated outcomes.
  • Implement forward looking management reports, insightful analysis, metrics, and anomaly reports which support the Business in making informed decisions, development and maintenance of reporting data models in Power BI. Oversee user management and updates with Head of FP&A
  • Data governance and accuracy of regional reporting and analysis, working closely with Global Data Governance teams; responsible for CAPEX and Cashflow forecasting.
  • Support external reporting requirements such as ABS and emissions data, aligning with other regional and global teams; oversee policy implementation of costings and CRM systems.

What will I bring?

  • 35 years PQE in a FP&A with CA or equivalent professional qualifications in chosen field with certifications in Microsoft BI highly regarded.
  • Able to provide recommendations based upon insights through data analysis.
  • Experience in creating models, flows and reports utilising Microsoft Power Platforms and Office.
  • Knowledge in budgeting and financial planning for a multinational and complex organisation.
  • Experience working with large ERP systems and utilising various data sources to produce integrated reporting outcomes.
