    Description

    The Cybersecurity Architect and Technical Consultant is a pre and post sales technical role in the Cybersecurity Services Business Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for scoping of prospective clients' requirements and provisioning new client services into our suite of cybersecurity services, including but not limited to managed security services, VAPT, cybersecurity training, and other cybersecurity services served out from cutting edge new technologies. You will identify, evaluate, design, architect, and provide appropriate technical solutions both for the clients and internally for the business unit. As part of your responsibilities, you will identify and spearhead new technology initiatives and offerings, lead and manage the new initiatives to support the growth of the business, strategise and coordinate security efforts.

    Externally, you will front existing customer as the trusted security consultant and advisor, and propose suitable services and solutions that may comprise existing offerings or other technologies to prospect and address the customer needs, and build a road map for the customer to on-board to our services.

    You will work closely with the existing cybersecurity services consultants, pre-sales, service delivery managers and collaborate across different functional teams.

    To be successful for this role, you should possess great interpersonal and communication skills, and technical expertise in the following domains:

    • Network and Infrastructure Security
    • Content (Application / Data) Security
    • Endpoint Security
    • Cloud Security

    Responsibilities:

    • Introduce a suite of cybersecurity services and solutions to partners and customers to achieve improved market share in the cyber security service market segment.
    • Deliver customer workshops and presentations as required.
    • Evangelise, engage in and/or support consultancy opportunities to influencing the customer's strategy favouring our portfolio of security services.
    • Work with internal groups and third-party vendors from pre-sales and implementation through to production.
    • Develop support and operation models for services and ensure support and operation costs and all internal or partner supply agreements are defined.
    • Review existing capacity and plan for future capacity dimensioning and develop Bill of Materials (BOM).
    • Work closely with identified prospects and close specific sales opportunities.
    • Analyse and qualify customer requirements and propose or develop a profitable and suitable solution to meet customer needs
    • Function as a cybersecurity expert and provide a consistent solution/service experience to customers across different industries and internally within the division.
    • Provide technical marketing and presentation of solution/service offerings.
    • Content development of presentations to present value propositions.
    • Develop the capability to transition customers from traditional legacy technologies to next generation on-premise and cloud services.
    • Provide input, guidance and advice within the relevant specialist focus areas of technologies.
    • Provide input as an expert advisor, and provide guidance and advice within the MSS SOC centre-of-excellence for technology and playbooks design.
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of present technological trends, processes and methodologies in the security marketplace so as to have a strong understanding and knowledge of competitor products and services
    • Identify and spear head new efforts to support new business initiative such as SOC in the Cloud for regulated and SME market segment.
    • Manage the development, implementation and operationalization of any new technological platform
    • Lead the identification and implementation of security SaaS and expand portfolio offerings
    • Opportunity to create global policy and guideline for new security initiatives
    • Opportunity to ensure compliance for new security initiatives
    • Setup, lead and manage technical reviews of portfolio technologies for the continual improvement of the security initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Attention to detail and ability to communicate well in a professional manner
    • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience working with enterprise clients
    • Ability to interpret the complexity of technical problems.
    • Excellent interpersonal, co-ordination and problem solving skills.
    • High level of initiative, accountability, professional diligence, attention to detail and ability to follow process.
    • Ability to work un-supervised as well as being able to work as part of a team.
    • Proactive, flexible attitude to work with an open mind to be exposed to different job scopes in varying degrees, and willingness to constantly review and improve skills and process.
    • Professional certifications with demonstrable abilities will be considered favourably.
