Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for driving and executing the construction of buildings and infrastructure.
  • Supported by project managers and his/her team collaborates with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, and contractors to make sure that the construction runs smoothly.
  • Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects by relevant building regulations and standards.
  • Schedules the construction timelines, coordinates work between various departments, conducts site meetings, and carries out inspections on the building works.
  • Chair meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, technical experts, etc. to resolve any design/budget/technical issues that might derail the project delivery.
  • Coordinate building inspections by relevant authorities.
  • Direct all site activities of site staff, contractors suppliers, etc., and manage the communication between different groups to ensure timely response to project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety measures.
  • Manage and deliver projects within the project timeline and budget, as well as the framework of risk and environmental considerations.
  • Manage budgets of construction projects.
  • Manage work delivery and resources based on resource allocation and project schedules.
  • Review construction progress and address the needs of the stakeholders at various stages of the project.
  • Work with design teams to review design solutions and ensure they meet the project budget and timeline.
  • Lead and oversees project execution, monitor site progress, and ensure ontime completion of the project
  • Project planning and project management
  • Liaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants, and authorities; set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
  • Project management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects.
  • Oversee the planning, analysis, and recommendations in support of project construction planning, implementation, and monitoring work schedules following the master and detailed work program.
  • Liaise with consultants for technical issues and coordinate with subcontractors on the site activities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing corporate construction policies that support project construction.
  • Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management regularly (monthly/bimonthly)
  • Prepare and submit monthly, weekly, and daily progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, timeliness, and budgetary/financial requirements.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to senior/project managers, and project, WSH teams, fostering a collaborative, productive, safe, and highperformance work environment.
  • Foster harmonious, positive, and sustainable client, internal and external stakeholders (e.g consultants, government agencies, public, subcontractors, etc) relationships and ensure their expectations, needs, and requirements are met and constantly throughout the whole project life cycle
  • Provide technical expertise to the project team throughout the project life cycle to achieve synergy, savings, and productivity.
  • Devise costeffective plans to enable effective project completion, ensuring WSHE and Quality Standards are not compromised.
  • Contribute site and management expertise to the ongoing and tender projects, cost, evaluation, and cost control.
  • Responsible for overall implementation and completion of projects within scheduled cost, time, and quality.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors to ensure smooth completion of the projects.
  • Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions.
  • Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environment, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all times and identify highrisk safety hazard activities before construction and approval of Method Statement.
  • Performs tender adjudication on tender awards put up by Project teams as part of due diligence to ensure prices are competitive and all transactions are done above board with proper justification to safeguard the company against any possible loss of profits, reputation, etc.
  • Conduct analysis and review of tender costing by project tender teams to ensure that all potential risk, and specified requirements were adequately addressed.
  • Lead a team of professional and technical staff in the planning and execution of daytoday operations.
  • Devise costeffective plans to enable effective project completion

Job Requirement:


  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Must have more than 20 years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering works
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skil
