JOB SUMMARY


Venture is a leading global provider of technology services, products and solutions with established capabilities spanning marketing research, design and development, product and process engineering, design for manufacturability and supply chain management.

Venture R&D team works with many customers who are leaders in their fields.

In the field of Life Science, we are expanding our R&D team members to work on advanced instrumentation development that allows scientists and researchers to gain a better knowledge of how human cells function, right down to the DNA of the genome.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a wide range of state-of-the-art products for the global markets, from conceptualization to mass production and eventually seeing the products in the market.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORIZATION LEVEL

  • Responsible for design, development, testing and debugging of embedded firmware/software of stateoftheart products
  • Design and code robust firmware/software modules to interface/integrate in a complex system.
  • Generate and maintain design and test documentation.
  • Innovate or develop new/alternative tools to enhance reliability and productivity
  • Support development and verification of firmware/software design as per the software life cycle process to meet process and audit requirement.
  • Assist the EE team Engineering verification testing activities.
  • Lead and participate in various technical discussion, brainstorming session and design reviews.
  • Interface with customers where applicable.
  • To be the firmware project lead on programs if the opportunity arises.
  • Lead project discussions and code reviews.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Masters/Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
  • Experience in product development.
  • Fresh graduate with relevant knowledge/project experience are welcomed to apply
  • Familiar with firmware/software development tools, methodology and development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in C, C++ and Python programming languages
  • Good understanding of computer architecture and operating systems concepts
  • Experience or familiarity with ML tools and concepts is a plus
  • Handson development/debugging/project experience is a plus
