RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing novel deep learning assisted generalizable algorithm for solving combinatorial optimization
• Implementing traditional optimization algorithms
• Collecting real-world dataset and testing the above algorithms for benchmarking
• Writing paper for publication.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
• Minimum one year of relevant research experience in deep learning or operations research
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is required
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on solving combinatorial optimization problem
• Experience with at least one programming tools, such as Pytorch or Tensorflow is preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of deep learning or operations research (OR)
• Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
• Applicants with strong publications in AI or OR area will be advantageous
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
