Job responsibilities

Provide overall team direction and management to realise the project objectives and activities ensuring that the project is delivered to the highest technical and safety standards;
Assist in contract administration and construction management
Review and comment on proposals, method statements and designs, etc.;
ERSS and Design and Build Works are designed to assist in reviewing the construction proposals and implement supervision oversight of these construction works carried out
Lead the REs and RTOs to check all drawings (including shopdrawings, construction drawings) and specifications for discrepancies
Overview of the quality system implementation, materials approval and compliance testing procedures;
Attend QAQC meetings, monitor and ensure quality on all works being carried out;
Together with the safety team, provide overview of WSH and safety management systems and risk analyses and implementation of safe working practices on site, provide safety oversight
Identify potential problems during construction and work to mitigate them;
Monitor project progress and propose measures to ensure timely completion;

Requirements:

The SRE-C&S shall have minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience as a civil engineer, of which at least eight (8) years on projects similar in size and complexity; in particular diaphragm wall construction, deep excavation works using topdown construction and major construction works involving drainage, pavement, taxiways and runways;
The SRE-C&S shall possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore;
The SRE shall be proficient in contract administration with Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC);

The SRE shall have past project experience in leading supervision teams in projects of similar nature. Must demonstrate proven commitment to safety and health on site, possess excellent leadership qualities, organisational and inter-personal skills;

Salary Range:

- $8,000 - $9,000
