Description

Assistant General Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operational and financial matters of the company by exercising great leadership and decision-making that supports the operational standards.

In addition, (s)he will set and execute the vision for the store through managers and team members.

Manages the flow of service to ensure maximum Safety, Cleanliness, Quality, and Speed, while simultaneously upholding brand standards of Hospitality in all interactions.


Safety:
Conducts food safety checks with integrity, enforces proper food safety procedures, and ensures that the facility and equipment are maintained well and secured to ensure the safety of employees and guests

Cleanliness:
Maintains all areas of the restaurant to the highest level of cleanliness while on pre-shift, during shift and post-shift

Quality:
Enforces brand standards for all prepped and finished items, including all cooking procedures

Speed:
Leads the team and adapt to different situations swiftly to ensure optimal customer service experience

Hospitality:
Interacts with customers frequently and graciously, and is responsible for providing the team with empathy and support.

Manages team's each and every individuals' shortcomings/weak points through training; planning of development and growth, and discipline for better progression when appropriate.

Ensure training programs are thoughtfully scheduled and completed according to plan by using one-to-one coaching and training. Conducting of interviews, evaluating talent and recruiting resources appropriately. Guiding employees through the training manual - from orientation to certifications. Manages all support functions (i.e. Marketing, Purchasing, Inventory, HR, Payroll, P&L Analysis etc.) at the store to ensure smooth operations and financial health of the business. Stock-count regularly and placing vendor orders to ensure sufficient stocks in store. Schedules and deploy employees accordingly to business and manpower needs.
