    Roles & Responsibilities

    MISSION

    The main mission of the referent for digital resources and educational uses in the middle and high school is to enable and support the thoughtful development of uses within the school. The digital referent will keep some teaching hours.

    RESPONSIBILITIES (shared between the 2 Edtech)

    Advise the management in the leadership of the school:

    • Lead and enrich the digital development project at the secondary school under the responsibility of the deputy principal.
    • Formulate pedagogical and technical opinions concerning the deployment of pedagogical tools.

    Actively participate in the training of teachers:

    • Propose the organization of the digital training plan in secondary school; build and lead training actions.
    • Directing teachers to training courses adapted to their needs

    Develop and facilitate the pedagogical use of digital technology by teachers:

    • Accompany teaching teams;
    • Propose examples of practices; encourage innovation and the emergence and implementation of digital projects
    • Help implement educational projects;
    • Advise on the choice of educational resources;

    Monitor digital resources, national and academic productions.

    Ensure the management of Chromebook tools

    • Deploy the selected applications;
    • Manage access in collaboration with the IT department.

    Assume a role of coordination, management, participate in teamwork

    • Ensure the link between teachers and the IT department, all staff and AEFE
    • Collaborate with all staff to develop the uses of the "parcours citoyen";
    • Contact for digital projects within the AEFE network.

    Manage the use of the PIX platform:

    • For the entire school, design and plan training sessions, positioning and certifications;
    • Participate in and manage the construction of the training program for the entire school.

    Teach in your discipline

    • Design and implement learning or teaching situations within the framework of the French curriculum and standards
    • Designing and implementing methods of evaluating student learning, in collaboration with other teachers or professional partners
    • To help students acquire skills including abilities, attitudes and disciplinary know-how

    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIRED

    • French National Teacher (CAPES, CAPET, Agregation...)
    • Experience in teaching at the secondary level (middle and high school)
    • In-depth knowledge of digital resources and environments
    • Experience as a digital referent appreciated
    • Knowledge of the google and chromebook environment appreciated
    • Experience in digital project management or willingness to work on this topic
    • Organizational and contact skills
    • Reactivity and availability
    • Ability to adapt and caring
    • Very good written and oral expression
    • Strong ability to work in a team and to invest in projects
    • Experience in coordination
    • Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary manner
    • Fluency in French and English (B2 level or higher)

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Full-time secondary position (18 hours in front of a student, i.e. a maximum of 6 hours of teaching and additional time off for the mission of secondary digital referent)
    • Remuneration based on diploma, experience and the IFS salary scale
    • Starting date: End of August 2024
