DESIGNATION :
Assistant Manager (Engineering - Audio Visual)

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assistant Manager (Engineering), you are to work with a team to oversee the operations and maintenance of all Audio Visual (AV) and Interpretive Media (IM) systems in Gardens by the Bay.

You will perform efficient system recovery and fault rectification to minimize disruption to visitors' experience and will also be entrusted to carry out contract and vendor management for the various system contracts.

This includes the preparation of quotation and tender documents and drives the procurement processes.

You will also attend production meetings for major events held in the Gardens and establish the AV requirements in support of the events.

You are expected to be involved in operational and hands-on tasks such as to load, bump-in/out, rig and setup/strike off relevant stage equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or Diploma in Technical & Production Management, Arts & Theatre Management or other professional certification in AV from a recognized institute.
Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting theatre art, live entertainment, theme parks and attractions industries.
Technical knowledge of AV and IM such as show controllers, video switchers, projectors, media players, digital signal processors, amplifiers and media converters is required.
Knowledge of lighting and mixer consoles.
Knowledge of lighting control systems such as MALighting (GrandMA), audio live mixing, show controllers such as Medialon and Alcon McBride will be an advantage.
Able to work on at night, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Meticulous and possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
