    Role Responsibilities

    Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking – Client Coverage ("CCIB CC") is one of the most crucial teams within the Bank. They not only manage the firm's relationships with large corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations globally, but they also assist to overcome challenges our clients may face and help them meet their financial and business objectives.

  • The role of the WSP Analyst within this team is important as a support for Credit Analysts who provide independent credit analysis and form the basis for implementing a credit strategy aimed at maximizing our client wallet share.
  • Credit Analysts provide Relationship Manager(s) with a thorough understanding of the client's industry, business cycles, and other relevant factors.
  • To meet this objective, Credit Analysts may focus on certain specific industry segments, along with effectively managing a credit portfolio.
  • The WSP Analyst will provide support to the Credit Analysts in discharging various functions including undertaking credit analysis for the client
  • Other Responsibilities

    As a successful WSP Analyst within CCIB CC team, you will provide inputs to the Credit Analyst to enable the Credit Analyst to provide proactive, comprehensive, and timely credit analysis to Relationship Managers and the Credit community. Your Daily job would include

  • Undertake research in relation to any industry sector, client information and account plans to enable preparation of client insights by Credit Analysts
  • Provide support to Credit Analysts in undertaking various activities including ongoing quality of portfolio, producing exception reports, review credit extending across entire portfolio to ensure consistency of approach
  • Review market data to put together focussed reports on macroeconomics, fundamentals impacting their credit portfolio
  • Evaluate learning around exception cases and seek to share this with other Credit Analysts to help properly capture risk profiles and ensure robust credit analysis
  • Assist Head CA / Relationship Managers / other team members on ad-hoc projects / deals etc. as and when required
