The job:

You will be part of the Property & Casualty Digital Commercial Insurance (DCI) Underwriting team on building and executing the DCI underwriting strategy, which is to deliver a seamless online customer experience with a low or no touch underwriting targeting small commercial business accounts.

With a multi-line P&C authority, you will be focusing as a team on the creation of new P&C digital products with the available Chubb digital tools & capabilities.

You will contribute on the achievement of indigenous budget plans and to ensure profitable growth under DCI, with guidance from the DCI Manager.

As an Underwriter, a typical day would include:

To review, propose & strategize as a DCI team on new P&C digital initiatives
To align with DCI, other Chubb UW units or Chubb COG on manuscript & rate approvals for new digital products and also to adhere to all operational and regulatory requirements
As a product owner under DCI, to oversee new Product Modular Set-Up & API integration with Chubb vendor &/or external parties and managing timelines on product deliverables
Monitoring product P&L, observing market & claim trends to ensure the curated products are uptodate and viable pieces of business for Chubb to offer
Working closely with the IT team on ensuring all front facing digital platforms are operationally running
Assist in performing peer review audits when necessary
Maintains close rapport and relationship with all distribution channels to promote satisfactory service relationship and to encourage the submission of targeted business
