Position ObjectivesUnited Martine Trading (UMT) is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Technical Manager to be part of our Logistical Team to bring about dynamism in our processesJob Roles and ResponsibilitiesDaily and timely reports made to Company Board of Directors regarding all operations and provision of updates to ensure smooth and efficient running of the Company's Fleet of TankersPlanning of optimum quantity of bunkers for assigned vessels and execution of activities associated with vessel maintenance, dry-docking, repairs etc.

For Current Fuel Procurement, you will be in charge of marine services to develop reports to analyse fleet consumption and global bunker pricing trends on a very regular basis so as to guide decision making for risk management and procurement of marine fuelsAble to continuously provide work plans which are dynamic to ensure that all vessels comply and meet Client requirements on top of provision of timely Reports to all parties involvedWork in tandem with Fleet Management Team to collate and coordinate information for vessel running cost budget as well as ensuring strict guidelines and adherence to vessel OPEXDaily reporting and monitoring of vessel performance trendsPreparation of vessel inspection by PSC, Flag, Oil Major and other parties, and ensuring that all issues that affects vessel commercial operation be reported and resolved promptly.

Utilise Risk Assessment System to manage associated risks of shipboard procedures and operationsJob RequirementsMust be familiar and knowledgeable with prevailing Regulatory DocumentationsProficient in MS Office associated software- 6 Years' experience in the maritime industry preferably related to vessel operations and/or data analyticsOtherEfficient and proactive in the workplaceAble to adapt quickly to changes and challenges due to the nature of workAble to perform and remain on task under pressureBe willing to work after hours and on Weekends/Public Holidays due to the nature of the industryTakes initiative and able to problem solveTeam player and good interpersonal skillsWe regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
