As we continue to expand our offerings and user base, we are looking for an ambitious Merchant Acquisition Manager to join our team in Singapore.

    Role Summary:

    The Merchant Acquisition Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our network of local merchants and service providers. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and onboard Singapore-based businesses, contributing to the enhancement of our app's value proposition and user experience. Your success in this role will directly impact our growth and the satisfaction of travelers using our app.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and onboard high-potential merchants and service providers within Singapore, focusing on sectors relevant to travelers, such as dining, shopping, activities, transportation, and accommodations.
    • Negotiate and establish partnership agreements, ensuring they are beneficial for both parties and align with our company's objectives.
    • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to facilitate the integration and onboarding of new merchants, ensuring a seamless process.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with merchants, providing ongoing support and optimizing their performance on our platform.
    • Stay informed about the local market landscape, competitor activities, and travel trends to identify new opportunities and areas for expansion.
    • Set, monitor, and report on acquisition targets, providing insights and strategic recommendations to enhance our acquisition efforts and overall success.
    • Represent our company at industry events, networking opportunities, and other relevant gatherings in Singapore.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or a related role, ideally within the tech, travel, or hospitality industries in Singapore.
    • Strong understanding of the Singaporean market, consumer behavior, and local business culture.
    • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a track record of establishing successful partnerships.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strategic and analytical thinker with a results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.
    • Proficiency in using CRM systems and data analysis tools to track performance and inform decision-making.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Fluency in English and at least one other local language (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Tamil) is highly desirable.
