Description

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch Coordination:

Assist in coordinating the dispatch of trucks, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

Communicate effectively with drivers and provide necessary instructions and information.

• Order Tracking and Documentation:

Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.

Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, including bills of lading and other relevant documentation.

• Customer Communication:

Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing updates on shipment status.

Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Route Optimization:

Collaborate with the routing team to optimize trucking routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Adjust schedules and routes as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.

• Problem Resolution:

Identify and resolve operational issues in real-time to minimize disruptions.

Work closely with other departments to address any challenges impacting trucking operations.

Have valid class 3A / 3 license

Preferable to have knowledge in Freight


Job Types:

Salary:
$1,700.00 per month

• Monday to Friday
• On call

• Local Polytechnic Diploma (preferred)

Experience:

• Shipping, Freight & Logistics: 1 year (preferred)
