JOB SUMMARY:


To develop, implement and monitor product marketing plans to ensure the assigned product portfolio achieves sales volumes, market shares and profitability targets.

Formulation and execution of short and long term strategic objectives, strategies and tactics to ensure the strengths of the product portfolio is optimized.

Provide remote and field support to the sales team. Work with country stakeholders to develop appropriate product promotional activities and monitor the effectiveness of these activities.


Responsibilities:

Goals & Results

  • Own the Annual Operating Plan responsibilities in achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales and operating profit target for the CRM product portfolio in Asia Pacific
  • Manage assigned marketing budget and maximize return on investment
  • Manage dynamic forecast for product portfolio through analysis of market trends and historical sales data
  • Stay abreast of competitors' strategies and ready to develop counter

Marketing Planning, Product Management & Market Development

  • Prepare and implement product marketing plan, through proper execution of these strategies, contribute to increased unit growth, profitability and market share
  • Understand the local markets, key competitors, etc. as all this knowledge which forms the basis for the strategies in the marketing plan
  • Establish and execute therapy development strategies & tactics to expand the usage of CRM products
  • Establish market development strategies to accelerate the adoption of CRM and making it standard of care
  • Build and maintain KOL relationship management
  • Plan, develop and execute key marketing activities driven by Regional Marketing with countries as well as major Asian and international congresses
Field Sales Support & training

  • Improving on sales effectiveness of the country sales team by providing them with necessary tools, knowledge and skills, to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Good sense of urgency with regards to external customers' requests related to products and training
  • High level of demonstrated ability in dealing with technical/professional matters, positive attitude coupled with appropriate interpersonal style to promote cooperation and behavioral changes during interface with internal and external customers
  • For Senior position, able to coach and work with country field team to address customers' needs
Teamwork & Self Development

  • Support and promote teamwork within the Marketing Department and Country sales team
  • Highly competent in product and market knowledge; keep abreast of current developments and trends within field
  • Strong verbal presentation skill to internal and external customers on products and market analysis
  • Competent to utilize various tools (EXCEL, POWERPOINT) to articulate market dynamics and analysis to formulate relevant strategies and tools
Regulatory

  • Work with Product Division, Global Marketing and Country Regulatory to prioritize and track product approval plan by country
  • Monitor product complaint response and Product Surveillance Reporting Procedures. Identify and champion solutions. Participate in customer and regulatory body responses when appropriate
Clinical

  • Work with Product Division, Global Marketing, country sales and marketing teams and clinical group to identify possibilities of involving in any planned clinical studies or opportunity to initiate one within Asia Pacific which fills gaps in mandatory clinical evidence which only required in Asia Pacific
  • Gain support from above group to conduct market evaluations and early physician preference testing in Asia Pacific

Requirements:


  • 510 years of experience in multinational pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical devices companies, in the field of product management
  • Resultoriented, creative and resourceful
  • Good organizational skills and able to perform multi tasks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to inspire people
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; Chinese (Mandarin) will be an advantage
  • No less than 30% traveling time

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Handle and process customer complaints in timely manner and according to Abbott Asia Pacific's and Abbott Singapore's policy and requirement
  • Execute the job responsibilities according to applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Asia Pacific and Abbott Singapore
  • Ensure applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Asia Pacific and Abbott Singapore are executed
