**Job Description

  • What you'll do**This Specialist
  • IT Support, Trading (Core) is accountable for the evolution, smooth running and maintenance of Marketing IM provided systems together with providing exceptional support to the business liaising with the relevant project managers and business teams as required.

Performance & Delivery

  • Triage and prioritise reported system issues in Marketing IM provided systems
  • Investigate and agree solutions for reported issues, including liaising directly with the business and other stakeholders to achieve expected behaviour
  • Provide oversight and direction for other platform related support staff and review their support activities.
  • Take a leadership role in ensuring a smooth support operation of Core related systems
  • Work with the project development teams to identify, plan and execute service improvements to systems that are developed
  • Gain consensus on new process concepts to move process improvement forward
  • Work closely with stakeholders, process owners and key users to understand business requirements and drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions
  • Drive the adoption of best practice and enforce the use of standard systems and solutions
  • Act as the key specialist point of contact for service providers in problem solving and investigations related to incidents in Marketing IM systems
  • Manage service introduction and deployment ensuring best practice by any third party teams including the delivery of acceptable test scenarios and scripts
  • Directly accountability for the succesful delivery of the endofday process
  • Deliver consistent service results and service improvement plans
  • Manage problem root cause analysis and resolution
**Qualifications

  • What we're looking for**An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline or significant relevant software development experience.

Specific Knowledge requirements:


  • Demonstrable extensive software development experience
  • Preferred: Azure DevOps experience
  • Preferred: Experience supporting and upgrading production systems
  • Nice to have: Back office and ERP integration
  • Nice to have: Relevant business process improvement planning
  • Nice to have: Aspect and Veson systems knowledge desirable
  • Nice to have: Physical commodity trading domain knowledge
  • Nice to have: Market and credit risk experience
