Be part of our dynamic team as a Manager Commercial Performance, collaborating with our Asia Sales Regions to fuel business success.

Reporting to the Head of Performance & Planning Asia, this pivotal role focuses on aligning reporting, enhancing data accessibility, and sharing insights to empower our offshore teams in exceeding commercial targets.


As the Manager Commercial Performance, you will partner with key contacts across Sales & Distribution streams within the region, working closely with Asia Sales Regions to understand and address their business requirements.

Your role will involve both providing support and challenging existing structures and processes.

Your innovative mindset will drive the identification and implementation of initiatives that foster efficiency, consistency, and innovation across the regions, while optimizing performance and reporting.

  • 5+ years' experience in an accounting or commercial planning/reporting role or another similar discipline
  • Extensive experience in both analytical and commercial roles and an ability to successfully combine the two disciplines
  • Financial management experience
  • Proficiency in PowerBI is essential
  • High level of understanding of revenue management Experience in Qantas Sales and Distribution and knowledge and understanding of Qantas commercial dealing
  • High level of commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities through data to capture additional revenue, cost savings or improved customer experience
  • Strategic thinking and proven analytical and problemsolving prowess, with the ability to gather, interpret, and present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Takes ownership of, and personal accountability for decisions and actions
  • Ability to engage and influence people through welldeveloped communication and leadership skills
  • Flexible, innovative, collaborative and responsive style
  • Ability to manage and prioritise diverse business projects
  • Ability to influence positive outcomes at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office strongly preferred
