Posting Date: 7 Feb 2024SingHealth Experimental Medicine Centre runs several core facilities for translational research in SingHealth.

Reporting to the Veterinary Technician and Veterinarian, you will be responsible in supporting the implementation of policies and initiatives for day to day animal husbandry and care.

You will be involved in the maintenance of animal inventory, equipment and facilities to ensure full compliance with the National Advisory Committee for Laboratory Animal Research (NACLAR) guidelines, Animal and Veterinary Services (AVS) requirements and American Association for Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) international standards. You are responsible for ensuring the provision of veterinary husbandry and care to support training and research activities in the centre. You will also be required to interact with researchers to facilitate veterinary operations in the department.

Job Requirements

GCE A / O / N Levels or equivalent
Ability to handle small and large animal work and perform shift duties, including weekends and public holidays
Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID19
