    Roles & Responsibilities

    IB is dedicated to developing international education that creates a better world. The role of the Regional Development and Recognition team is to manage and nurture key stakeholder relations with governments, higher education institutions, associations, corporate partnerships, large entities of schools and individual schools in the 'interested phase' before application for candidacy.

    Serving as a member of the IB Asia Pacific Development and Recognition team, the role is responsible for promotion of IB programs and expand the footprint of IB within the Asia Pacific a region. The successful job holder is expected to contribute to the growth and promotion of IB programmes to schools across all strands within that territory.

    Expectations includes working closely with the Development and Recognition Asia Pacific team, to manage some territories, support other managers up to the point of applications for candidacy submission, development of standardised marketing toolkits, simplify processes and support the removal of growth barriers and actively support/promote IB programmes with the organisation of IB orientation seminars, forums/IB day, events and webinars.

    Responsibilities

    · Take schools from ITA to AfC; Estimated 20-30 AfCs depending on the team's targets and territories on the annual plan.

    · Taking at least 95% of school from intend to apply to successful AFC.

    · Reducing the number of L2 letters (MTBAs) to less than 10% of AFCs.

    · Assist in delivering of the annual growth plan.

    · Work with Head of Development and Asia Pacific team to ensure action plans/programme strategies are written, implemented and executed.

    · Identify contacts for cold calling and have proactive approach to grow in the region.

    · Achieve growth in assigned territories and manage own sales target for AfC submission.

    · Responsibility of support to other managers up to the point of Applications for Candidacy submission.

    · Organise and implement outreach events and webinars.

    · Serve as liaison between the Asia Pacific Development and Recognition team and various IB teams and functions.

    · Provide a central point of information for any application and recognition queries for the Asia Pacific Development and Recognition team.

    · Prepare country reports and country specific strategic plans on the education systems for IB's growth plan in the region.

    Requirements

    · Bachelor's degree in relevant field with proven experience in sales management or business development.

    · Experience leading targeted campaigns and proven track record of managing the sales cycle from plan to close.

    · Experience creating multiple strategic initiatives to increase performance and growth.

    · Demonstrated ability to identify and assess market segments/needs and develop strategies to enhance service and revenue.

    · Demonstrated competency in being stakeholder focused.

    · Demonstrated project and event management skills; including knowledge of agreement / contract negotiation.

    · Active involvement and knowledge regarding educational philosophies, pedagogy, professional development, curriculum development, research, policy and trends.

    · Experience with Salesforce.
