A well-established marine company located in Tuas is seeking an
Accountant on
Staff position.

  • Working Hours 730 am to 530 pm Mon to Thurs, 730 am to 430 pm Fri

Responsibilities

  • Perform daytoday operations in one or more of these accounting functions such as AR, AP, GL, Costing and Treasury
  • Support the monthly and yearly closing of accounts and ensure timely and accurate preparation of management reports
  • Involve in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process and analyzing of actual vs budget costs
  • Assist in the preparation of audit and tax schedules and documents for yearly audit and tax matters
  • Able to work with other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and accuracy of data
  • Ensure adhere to accounting policies, internal controls and regulatory compliance
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements:


  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
  • Have good understanding of accounting standards and taxation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and have hands on experience in ERP software
