[What the role is]

Senior Project Manager/Project Manager (Library Services), Technology Services Group

[What you will be working on]

Conceptualize, innovate and perform feasibility study of new or improved products and services based on user requirements.
Manage ProofofConcept, pilot projects involving new technologies
Work closely with users on leveraging IT to effectively support their business needs and services as well as to improve current work operations and innovation of new services, while concurrently ensuring compliance to prevailing policies and guidelines
Prepare proposal and storyboarding of IT solutions to get buyin from users and managements.
Responsible for endtoend procurement of IT services, ensuring objectivity, transparency and best value for NLB and its patrons.
Manage the vendors and contracts to ensure that the performance of vendors and deliverables are in accordance to the tender and service level agreements.

[What we are looking for]

At least 3 years of relevant working experience in related IT roles e.g. managing IT related products/projects, prototyping, vendor management.
Those with project management certification or equivalent, familiar with government procurement process and IM8 guidelines would have an added advantage.
Good experience with agile development process.
Knowledge of new technologies (progressive web, mobile development, AI/machine learning, robotics, augmented/virtual reality and information discovery) and/or RFID technologies will be desirable.
Proactive and dedicated individual with willingness to learn and multitasking capabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written skills as well as the ability to present ideas.
Preferably with experience in IT infrastructure setup for new office project.
