Production Planner:


  • As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for Toll Manufacturing, Production Planning through analyzing Demand and Supply. This role requires strong analytical, numeric, planning, communication skills and will work in a dynamic fastpaced manufacturing environment. You will be given full freedom to run analysis, reports/dashboards for Supply Planning and interpret data to present to management and key stakeholders. You will proactively plan Production/Toll activities and responsible for inventory management and movements using SAP for both Toll Manufacturing and Symrise Factory. _

The Position:


  • Strong data analysis and numeric skills to be independent in running reports from SAP and able to interpret the Schedule Production Plan and present data to support the overview of Planning/Supply Chain.
  • Coordinate, follow up and execute SAP transactions to ensure raw materials and intermediates are available from start to completion of Finished Goods at Toll Manufacturing/Symrise Factory.
  • Managing from order receipt to finished goods availability to ensure meeting customer's demand, monthly production output target (Toll and Symrise) and work closely with Demand Planning to level load to avoid capacity crunch and unnecessary overtime.
  • Ensure Sales Order Confirmation is given promptly in accordance with Service Level Agreement and possesses strong business mindset of meeting customer's requirements and meeting requested/committed dates.
  • Ensure finished goods and intermediates are at a healthy stock level by collaborating with Demand Planning, Production, Purchasing, Finance and Business on inventory controls to meet Supply Chain KPI.
  • Close liaison with Formula Management, Process Engineer (IPI), Quality Control team to ensure the right Build of Material (BOM) and Mixing Instructions is used.
  • Proactive and independent with great problem solving, negotiation, communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills to build effective relationship in a crossfunction team environment. (Eg. Toll Manufacturers, Warehouse, Purchasing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Production, Process, Quality Control etc.)
  • Ability to deliver quality work to tight deadlines, organized and agile in reacting to challenges in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.

KPI:
Focusing on Customer's Service Level, On-Time Delivery, Meeting Customer Wish Dates, Speed of Order Confirmation, Supply Chain Leadtime, Inventory, Planning Flexibility

  • Diploma with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience or Degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Business Management, Economics or equivalent fields
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and SAP
  • Knowledge in Power BI tools (E.g. Tableau) is an added advantage
  • Strong data analysis and numeric skills
  • Proactive and independent with great problemsolving and negotiation skills.
  • Communicative in both written and verbal and strong interpersonal skills
