Duties:


As an IT Specialist (INFOSEC/Network), you will:

  • Ensure the design, implementation and operation of adequate telecommunications capabilities that provide measured availability and sustainability for TIGTA.
  • Integrate IT programs and services; developing solutions to integration/interoperability issues.
  • Manage assigned projects; communicate complex technical requirements to nontechnical personnel; and prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex/controversial issues.

  • The duty station for a remote designation must be established within the defined geographic options prior to start date. The selectee is not required to regularly work from a TIGTA worksite however, the option may be available.

Qualifications:


  • You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position includes:

-
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; AND:


  • Experience with mentoring and knowledge sharing with other team members with different levels of abilities.

In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.

  • A one year probationary period may be required.
