Description

Responsibilities:

1. Manage commercial interactions with shipyards and clients.
2. Provide commercial support for new building projects and tenders.
3. Review and negotiate quotations from shipyards and vendors.
4. Budget management for all new building projects.
5. Address and resolve commercial and contractual issues during new build projects.
6. Coordinate with site/project teams to ensure understanding and compliance with contractual obligations and commercial implications.
7. Capture and update all engineering changes with commercial impacts.
8. Review site instructions and quotations from shipyards/vendors.
9. Coordinate with vendors for equipment quotations for new vessel development.
10. Develop efficient process flows for site teams, project support, and commercial/finance teams.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or relevant field.
2. Proven experience in commercial purchasing or procurement within the maritime industry.
3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to review and negotiate contracts.
4. Proficiency in budget management for projects.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
