Business Development Logistics Manager - Singapore - LIAN SHING CONSTRUCTION CO PTE LTD
Description
The Business Development Manager shall be responsible for establishing Business Development / Marketing / Sales processes, performing market research, developing new client base and meeting sales targets.
One of the key roles shall be to maintain existing accounts, identify niche services for the construction and sewage sector, engage in service development, identify prospects for the new services and drive the marketing processes required to meet sales targets.
He/She should have expertise in brand management and brand execution strategies, international business development, trade and marketing, digital marketing, managing business resources, managing research projects and should also be able to manage the technical team from time-to-time.
He/She should be resourceful and analytical and should have a proven track record in business development and in managing technology driven processes.
He/She should have relevant experience relating to the sewerage industry. He/She should have established contacts with relevant personnel within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new sales opportunities for the company's existing services and offerings
- Identify new opportunities & develop suitable services / solutions to serve the requirements and manage the sales cycle
- Should be able to manage construction related tenders for both government and private sector projects. Should have strong analytical skills to understand client requirements and prepare detailed proposals
- Developing proposals, quotations and tenders for enquiries and negotiating terms to secure sales opportunities to meet target
- Responsible for brand development, branding, pricing strategy and service delivery across multiple geographies
- Provide market analysis on key geographies, industries, sectors and competitor information to the management from timeto time
- Manage all internal & external communication tools and processes
- Responsible for meeting sales targets and P&L for all services
- Master's degree in Marketing / Business Development
- At least 7 to 8 years working experience spread across business development in construction & technology
- Tech Savy
- Competence in Microsoft Office Applications, Web and App development technologies and Digital Marketing is strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills. A diploma in Public Relations / Corporate Communications would be an added advantage
- Multilingual should be able to communicate well in English & Tamil
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Dynamic personality, analytical and strategic, result oriented, innovative and strong leadership skills
